SEE HERE This game of giving arms to one side or the other in a situation of civil unrest in a foreign nation is a bad policy. The Founders wanted us to stay out of foreign entanglements and from what I can see of the historical results since we stopped following that policy, the Founders had it right. Now in the Middle East we might as well be a pawn of Saudi Arabia ... wait ... we are a pawn of Saudi Arabia.
