SEE HERE  I've dealt with the IRS and this kind of thing is pretty routine.  They really don't know what they are doing.  I remember reading a study that was done by presenting a wide variety of IRS offices the same question and getting back a huge variety of answers all different.  But if you don't think that government regulations hamstring small business especially then you should read this because it's a typical example.

SEE HERE  Maybe someone should tell Al Gore that he's an idiot.  Apparently he doesn't know it.  Now he's making racist remarks, but that's not unexpected since after all he's a liberal.  Liberals are the most racist people on the planet.  They're always telling us to "cull the herd" but if you check the demographics you'll find that they program of systematic sexual immorality is doing a pretty good job of that already.  So why is he giving Africans the benefit of his advice?  Probably because they have not been culling their herd and he's worried that they will outnumber him soon.  This nonsense about climate change is just another excuse for the sustained racism of the left.

SEE HERE  The left acts as if money is wealth.  That's a fundamental fallacy akin to thinking menus are food.  Thomas Sowell is good at pointing these things out so that even a liberal could understand it if they bothered to try.  The problem of course is that liberals don't care about truth.  All they care about is getting their way and someone patting them on the back for their sensitivity and compassion when the brutal facts of the matter are that their "sensitivity and compassion" harnessed to policies that are ill considered and disastrous has caused more pain and suffering than any robber barons or 1%'ers that they so love to rail on about.  Wealth is important not because the wealthy have amassed great sums of money, but because the money stands for the debt which society owes to those who have improved it most.

TED CRUZ This administration is targeting its enemies using the power of the government.  Are the attacks warranted?  No one will know for a long time meanwhile the very simultaneity of them suggests they are part of a coordinated program of "payback" such as that which Valerie Jarrett threatened in the aftermath of their successful 2012 reelection campaign.

Frankly, given the president's abysmal record in his first term you also have to question exactly how honest that reelection was.  Some people think it was the result of careful vote fraud and vote count manipulation, but even if it was due to too many conservatives just deciding to sit it out, the result is the continuance of a manipulative, dishonest, and corrupt administration whose hidden agenda seems to be the collapse of the U.S. economy and instigation of a nation shattering crisis.

Man Up! The Establishment Has To Go

SEE HERE  That's the long and short of it.  We can't keep letting the establishment make little rules that make it possible for them to simply ignore us after we've done the work to get them elected.  The whole Washington political establishment regardless of party is a bowl of sour, stagnant, and putrefying garbage that only pretends to have principles and honor when an election year is in the offing.  It's time to replace the whole lot of them, but especially those who have been egregious sycophants currying the favor of the Obama-bots while dismissing their own grassroots as too conservative.  Well they in particular need to be primaried, conventioned, retired, and defeated.  We need a few good men and women to stand up and run for office, men and women who put principles and the country ahead of their own selfish ambition.  Meanwhile an Article V Convention would be a wonder to behold!

Tea Party Angst!

SEE HERE  It's fascinating frankly that so many politicians on both right and left see the Tea Party as a threat.  I think the founders would have seen the Tea Party as exactly the kind of citizenry they desired, people who were engaged and supporters of freedom and patriotism.  But our "leaders" see them instead as a threat despite the fact that they are a thoroughly grass roots movement of concerned citizens, not centrally located and not particularly coordinated.  To me this makes the Tea Party far more authentic than most of the better organized operations that pretend to represent the people.

Frankly I can't get too emotional about taking out Christie or even McDonnell but I think it is a measure of the lack of objectivity that their sins are trumpeted while the far worse ones of Obama are accepted and shoveled under the rug, although they do make for a huge and distasteful lump in the rug.  Only time will tell if this kind of thing will be ignored or even welcomed by the electorate.

SEE HERE  It's working.  Yeah, that's what I said.  The Obama administration has been intentionally creating a dysfunctional state, degrading the economy, inflating the enrollment of those on food stamps and other forms of assistance, increasing profligate spending, dividing the electorate into different groups and pitting them against one another.  It's a conscious effort to create a major crisis and impose federal hegemony and create a tyrannical state.  If you study the sources of these tactics you'll find that they advocate all of the things that are going on.  Sadly, it's working.

"Saving the planet" is code for all their programs that recycle or foster alternative energy, force people into plastic cars, and generally rail against such things as carbon dioxide when in fact the recycling is largely pointless, the alternative energy is extraordinarily expensive and only augments slightly what is already in place, fossil fuel burning energy, and their cars are death traps and carbon dioxide is innocent and in fact an essential plant nutrient.

"Rescue the exploited?" is code for stealing from those whose work has produced wealth to give it to those who often because of the very programs the left has supported earlier are trapped in a cycle of dependency.  Their "War on Poverty" has spread poverty more effectively than doing nothing at all would have done.  Before that war the poor were slowly coming out of poverty.  After it started they became trapped in the entitlement and victim mantra culture that resulted.

"Social justice" is code for injustice practiced by the anointed.

But you can't tell these people anything for they sit in the hive of their own making humming to one another the mantras which sing the hymn of how wonderful they are and how everyone else is evil.  Meanwhile they have spread more evil in the world than any other single force.

Tea Party Must Be Doing Something Right

SEE HERE  There is no better thing than having politicians worried and when one organization has both parties worried they must be doing something right.  The Tea Party isn't really an organization.  It's a large conglomeration of organizations and groups that share core values like patriotism and love for the vision of the Founders and Framers of the United States and the Constitution.  Perhaps their single strongest commitment is to the nation that this country derives its powers from the people.  "We the people ..." is a common enough image together with the Gadsen flag, "Don't tread on me!"  It's time that we recognize that the major political parties are not serving us well.  They need to be held to account and the government needs to be returned to first principles.

SEE HERE  And you thought the left was enlightened or in favor of openness or democracy?  Silly you!  They are thugs bent on suppressing all resistance.  Tea Party?  Oh you mean people who think the government should obey the highest law of the land, the Constitution.  Sure they need to be suppressed.  This game that is being played out in Washington that we have two political parties is starting to look awfully unlikely.  When push comes to shove they are just tyranny up front, and tyranny slower but tyranny all the same.  The people, oh we can't listen to them.  They're a bunch of uppity people that want to spoil our fun stealing from the tax payer and buying votes and corporate favoritism.  I guess we're on the steep track to the train wreck.

SEE HERE  We see it beginning, the irresponsible use of government power to refuse to enforce laws you don't like.  Shades of Obama.  When will this kind of corruption end?  This isn't responsible governance, it is agenda driven refusal to govern responsibly and be the servants of the people.  Instead they seek to be our masters.

SEE HERE  I don't know if there is anything to this.  I'm doubtful frankly.  It looks like another case of harassment.  One has to remember Valerie Jarrett's threat to get people and wonder how much of this kind of thing traces back to her threat.  Targeting of political enemies is pretty obviously an Obama administration strategy.  We'll have to see if any of these things hold up.  Meanwhile they certainly suggest you better watch your back.

SEE HERE  Harassment is becoming a sign of corrupt government.  Identifying those you consider your enemies and targeting government harassment at such people is what it is increasingly all about not only at the federal level but here at the state level.  This is corruption and tyranny.  Truth is what is being targeted.  We can't have people finding out what government is really up to.

When facing a corrupt system, provide for yourself and your community those necessities that the system cannot or will not. Become independent from establishment-controlled paradigms. If you and your community do this, the system will have one of two choices:

1. Admit that you do not need them anymore and fade into the fog of history.
2. Or reveal its tyrannical nature in full and attempt to force you back into dependence

Fact Free Liberals ... Yeah, That Sums It Up!

Our Founders and Framers knew history well and designed a Constitution with as much foresight as they could muster to head off the known dangers.  The progressives, who thought they knew better, systematically destroyed many of the safeguards in the early twentieth century and have continued their programs of destruction for a century.  We are now on the cusp of the final failure.  Can we draw back from the disaster?  Increasingly it looks like the answer may be "No!" — and if that is true then a great experiment in freedom will die like so many have died before.

1)    Healthcare - Control healthcare and you control the people

2)    Poverty – Increase the Poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live.

3)    Debt – Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.

4)    Gun Control - Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government. That way you are able to create a police state.

5)    Welfare - Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Housing, and Income)

6)    Education - Take control of what people read and listen to take control of what children learn in school.

7)    Religion - Remove the belief in the God from the Government and schools

8)    Class Warfare - Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to take from (Tax) the wealthy with the support of the poor.

Police State? Why Would You Think That?

SEE HERE  I suppose if your eyes are open you might notice a lot of troubling things like the growth of unconstitutional agencies and the increasing effort to deny you your constitutional rights.  That's a hint, but it's likely deeper and further along than you think, so the only question becomes: "When is the tipping point reached?"  Because it seems to be coming at a gallop.  We are structurally unsound economically and that's one tipping point.  There seem to be others maybe just under the surface which will become more apparent. 

Why are we giving Muslims a pass on airport security?  What's the point of TSA if it isn't to protect us against the obvious terrorist group?  Just how is that supposed to work?  Why are we finding Muslims in water plants? or stalking reservoirs?  Water is pretty fundamental.  Is there a missing nuclear device?  That story arose and disappeared so fast I don't know what to think.  What happened to all that ammunition that DHS bought?  Do we really need to militarize all these local and regional police forces?  It just makes the police think they are military.  What about the rise in police brutality and violence, especially against the innocent?

Learning Not Teaching

SEE HERE  A worthwhile thing to think about especially when considering the rhetoric that makes the round about education.  The student learns by applying themselves.  The teacher provides an environment and a structure, but doesn't do any of the learning.  The more demanding a teacher is the more likelihood that the student will put out the effort to learn.  Instead we have a culture that thinks students should not be worked too hard, poor dears.  The result is that they don't learn very much.

You Have To Assume Now That Everyone Is Lying

SEE HERE  Reality 101: Media is so full of liars now that you can't believe anything anyone writes because everything seems to be agenda driven.  It's pretty disturbing when your first response to anything is something along the lines of "How do you know that is true?"  Then when you look into it you find that it isn't, but then you have to ask about the new story: "How do you know that is true?" and there's no point at which you can be sure you're still not being lied to.  That's a pretty long crash in credibility from just a few decades ago.

Cops Should Get Their Facts First Before They Go Off On People

SEE HERE  The whole drug scene is pathetic.  We can't seem to shut down drug trafficing anywhere.  I was on a grand jury a few times and there always were tons of drug cases or drug related cases.  Apparently the low life lives on drugs and there is a lot of violence surrounding drugs.  This is just one case of mistaken identity or police overreach but an even deeper question is whether we shouldn't do something different.  The War on Drugs is not working all that well.  It seems to enrich thugs and criminals and it makes criminal of thousands who are just stupid idiots who get addicted.  The process of getting addicted seems to be profitable to those peddling the drugs and this leads to all sorts of abuses.  I think we'd probably be better off legalizing the stupidity and taking the majority of the money out of the trafficing of drugs.  We'd still have stupid people using them but the overall social cost might be much lower.  If it isn't then we could always make them illegal again.

The Insanity In Our Schools And The Perversion Of The Culture

SEE HERE  So now we have descended into the first circle of hell and find that children have to be sexualized from their first nascent moment of sexual awareness.  This is simply insanity. 

The purpose of an education is to bring out the whole person not to create a diminished creature ready to rut in the jungle with the first partner that comes along.  This is simply sickening and that it is in any school's curriculum is a sign of not only the decadence of the times but of the loss of sanity and the rise of lust over love and delusion over reason. 

It is not the purpose of the schools to corrupt our children.  It is not the purpose of the schools to indoctrinate our children.  It is the purpose of education to lead young minds out of the tyranny of ignorance and appetites into the clear crisp cold morning clime of reason and profound understanding of virtue; it is for our good that we conform to that which makes us whole and which brings the satisfaction and happiness of knowing that we have done what we ought.

As the legislative week gets underway here in Washington, I wanted to update you on two important items I have recently been working on in the House of Representatives, as well as one upcoming markup in the House Judiciary Committee, which I chair.  As a committed conservative who represents our Sixth District values, I know you share my desire to advance policies that meet sound constitutional principles.

As you may have already seen, some news articles have misrepresented my work on immigration reform and mischaracterized my position on the issue.  I am opposed to amnesty and always have been.  I do not support a special pathway to citizenship that rewards those who have willfully broken our immigration laws.  To try and paint my position as something else is just not accurate.  

The Judiciary Committee, as you may know, handles immigration reform.  For the last year we have held more than a dozen hearings on the issue, and passed two enforcement first bills and two bills that improve some of our legal immigration programs to spur economic growth and job creation.  This step-by-step approach is the best way to fully examine the issue and not rush to judgment and repeat the mistakes of the past, like the Senate immigration bill, which I strongly oppose.

If you’ve been watching the news lately, you’ll know one of the most talked about topics is the National Security Agency (NSA).  I have continued my work to protect your civil liberties and freedoms in cyberspace and over the telephone by strengthening the laws that govern the NSA and their surveillance methods.  As was highlighted by Edward Snowden, the NSA has engaged in some questionable actions, which require robust congressional oversight and reform.  As Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, I have already conducted several hearings to examine how the laws are being carried out and how best we can protect your civil liberties.

Just last week I joined several other conservatives, like Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner, at the White House to share our strong concerns with the President.  While our country does need surveillance programs to protect us from threats, it must be balanced in order to protect your constitutional rights and civil liberties. Bottom line, as I told the President, it’s increasingly clear that we need to take legislative action to reform some of our nation’s intelligence-gathering programs and ensure they adequately protect Americans’ civil liberties and operate in a sensible manner. 

Wrapping up, I wanted to let you know I’ll be conducting a markup in the Judiciary Committee this week of H.R. 7, legislation to end federal funding of abortion.  The markup will be held tomorrow morning at 10:15 am.  Protecting human life is vitally important, and this legislation will help ensure that your federal tax dollars are not being spent in the taking of innocent human life.

So that's our problem.  On the one hand we have the Democrats, dominated by far left Marxist collectivists (we used to call them Communists but that's no longer politically correct) who are bent on turning the country into a centrally planned, socialist state while we transition to the true utopian world of communism.  The fact that it has never worked anywhere is just because the implementers weren't the anointed arrogant bunch that are now bent on improving on previous failed experiments.  Then on the other hand we have the Republicans (at least the establishment Republicans) who seem bent on holding onto power but whose ideas are pale imitations of those advanced by their adversaries.  They ignore their grassroots and the increasingly vocal Libertarians among them and put up phony candidates with no ideas and no charisma.  What could go wrong?

We've seen a parade of lackluster candidates, people like Ford, Dole, McCain, and Romney go spiraling down to defeat.  It's now reached the point where many people just don't go to the polls.  Why bother when Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum are the only candidates?

What Did You Expect? — Why?

SEE HERE  It's always amazing to me that people expect anything very good to come from government.  Why would you expect that?  The government doesn't make a profit and has not measure for success or failure because they reward both.  It's just another day as a bureaucrat is what it comes down to.  So why expect any kind of success?  Even when you have relative success it is more expensive than a private sector solution would have been.  They hide that reality of course and since they pay for much of it from taxes they can pretend it was cheaper because they are slipping money out of your wallet, and everyone elses, using multiple paths, fees, taxes, duties, licensing, and on and on.  You only see the fee for a service but that's not the true cost.  This regulatory structure is strangling U.S. innovation and productivity while pretending to help.  We used to be the most productive society on earth.  Currently we're coasting and shortly, if this continue, we'll be crashing and the people who are at fault will be pointing fingers at everyone but themselves.

More Out Of Control Cops Killing Unarmed People

SEE HERE  I really don't get this.  I've been seeing more and more police incidents reported where the cops end up killing someone who is unarmed and not a threat.  That is just unbelievable.  L.A. seems to be really good at it.  Now here's a D.C. event.  Do they actually teach cops anything about not shooting innocent or even guilty unarmed people.  It doesn't give you much respect for law enforcement.

There's Deluded And Then There's Delusional

SEE HERE  Education has such a nice sound to it.  Who can be against education?  Well there is one problem and that's when education isn't really education but a combination of babysitting and indoctrination.  We already have schools that are dumbing down our children at immense cost and with all sorts of posturing about what good education is.  Well education was better in the past.  It was much better in the past.  Get any set of 19th century school books and look and ask if your kids could do what those kids were doing?  The answer is not only "No" but it is a towered, stellar, unbelievable almost breathtaking "I can't believe they could do this at that age."  Just go look. 

We fill our children's minds today with brainwashing but we don't get them educated.  They don't emerge from grade school or high school or even college on average being as educated as a high school graduate of the early 20th century.  They can't write cursive and often can barely print.  They mostly don't read and that's partly because their reading skills have not been developed.   What they have read for the most part is junk.  They've never memorized (they've been told that memorization is not good) so they actually have not trained their minds to remember anything.  They don't know American history or for that matter pretty much any history.  Instead they've been brainwashed on the latest trendy multi-cultural or diversity or some other buzzword ideas.  They have no concept of virtue or morals except what harried parents often both working full time jobs have managed to get into their minds in the few hours they see them that are not full of cell phones or gaming or television.

The society is degrading before our eyes and all the government can propose is to push back "education" to preschool so that the indoctrination can begin earlier.

Republicans Gearing Up For Fratricide

SEE HERE  Joseph Sobran didn't call them the stupid party for nothing.  Here they have what is arguably the best show in a long time to make major inroads in the Senate and the House and instead of wooing their base they are gearing up to attack them.  Yeah, that makes sense!  What's wrong with this picture?  Well it's obvious that wealth, power, and control are more important than any principles so the establishment Republicans are gearing up once more to lose big.  Idiots!  Total Idiots!

Unpacking The Narrative And Calling Progressives Out

SEE HERE  This is a good piece that penetrates to the substratum of Progressive lying through rhetorical manipulation.  Lie Like A Liberal is of course at the heart of these things. 

1. It's always easier to project a rosy future than deal with a messy and dystopian present.
2. Spin distorted views of the past (lying again) and keep Conservative on the defensive.
3. Frame the debate by claiming good intentions giving politicians cover who have never even read or understood the bills they pass.
4. Dodge responsibility for failure with more lies. (insufficient funds, the prior administration, the greedy 1 percent, sabotage by Republicans, or even the people’s obdurate failure to appreciate the progressive benefits conferred upon them.) And of course when all else fails propose to fix the problems usually having blamed someone else (a lie) they double down.
5. Follow Woodrow Wilson's lead and abandon the Constitution calling it a "living document" which means you don't have to pay any attention to it.  (does the lying never stop?)
6. "If you like your health care, you can keep your health care.  Period." One of the biggest lies of all time.

All of these strategies which are readily observable are based on lying.  Lie Like A Liberal and you too can seize power and control and prove to be a bane to your fellow citizens.  It's been done before by El Duce, Herr Hitler, and Comrade Stalin and Mao.  Why not try that successful policy again is the subtext of the current moment.  Tyranny Rising!

Happiness Is A Decision You Make

This list of good suggestions was put together by Tamara Star a life coach and the link is at the end of the list.  I think it's good advice.  She had me at the first one which reminds me of a book title by my favorite physicist Richard Feynman, "What do you care what other people think?"

1.  Give up caring what other people think of you. I know it seems counter intuitive as we humans are primal pack animals that don’t want to be cast from the village, but spending time worrying what others think, is a waste of energy. You’ll never please everyone and it’s none of your business what others think of you.

2. Give up trying to please everyone.  Unless you’re living life to the beat of your own drum, your tribe won’t be able to find you. Be the best version of you you can be, and you’ll naturally attract in the people that are supposed to surround you.

3. Give up participating in gossip. 100 percent of the time, those sharing gossip with you will gossip about you. Believing gossip is like gambling everything on a horse sight unseen. It’s naive.

4. Quit worrying. Where thoughts go, energy flows. Worry is investing time and energy in something you don’t want to have happen. Learn to let go and trust.

5. Let go of insecurity. When we take ourselves too seriously, we think everyone else does too. There is one version of you on the planet. Be it, own it and quit worrying about it. No one really cares or watches you that closely.

6. Stop taking everything personally. Truth is, most people are too consumed with their own life to really consider what you’re doing. As my first boss said so well: “The world doesn’t revolve around you. Most people’s reactions have nothing to do with you, so let it go.”

7. Give up the past. We’ve all been hurt, we all had parents that made mistakes and we’ve all been through hell. You didn’t listen to your parents when you were younger, so why are you still listening to their voices in your head now? Every experience in life has taught you something or made you stronger.

8. Give up spending money on what you don’t need in effort to buy happiness. Living simply allows the space for life to flow. We complicate our lives by spending too much money and filling our home with “things.” Less is truly more.

9. Give up anger. Anger burns a hole in the hand of the person still holding on to it. Move it out once and for all.

10. Give up control. Control is an illusion.  We live in an out of control world.  Learn to embrace the new and welcome change; otherwise you’ll grow old through your own rigidity. Learn to let go.
