Going Downhill Is Not the Right Direction

SEE HERE When push comes to shove the primary role of any government is to preserve the nation.  George Washington said "In time of peace prepare for war."  War is the common experience of mankind and to signal weakness is to invite conflict and attack.  China is growing their military power aggressively.  Iran is seeking to enter the nuclear club and frankly reestablish the Caliphate.

We live in a very dangerous world.  The defense posture of the United States should not be equality but absolute superiority so that none dare consider attacking us.  The Obama administration doesn't get that.  Most liberal progressives don't get that.  Most of these people have no idea how freedom is secured.  It is secured by free men and women being too damn tough to consider taking on.

America needs to be militarily powerful.  That being said, it is also important to limit the use of our power to really important and clearly defined situations so that we send a signal to the world what they can expect from us.  Freedom isn't free and America is exceptional.  Let's keep it that way.
