SEE HERE  "Don't Tread On Me!" a slogan of long standing American tradition.  Seems like it cuts a little too close to the heart of tyranny that beats in our current administration's chest, what there is of it.  We no longer are producing statesmen that know the meaning of honor, principle, or virtue.  It reminds me of C.S. Lewis's chapter 'Men Without Chests' in The Abolition of Man where he says: 'We make men without chests and expect from them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst.'

Executive Order On Climate Change ... Could Congress Slap This Down?

SEE HERE  So let's see ... the president is not effectively making new law by edict.  How does that fit his constitutional mandate ... he's supposed to enforce the law not make it.  Climate Change is just the latest transmogrification of a phony understanding of the weather.  What a great way to impose more central government power though.  That's what it is being used for and that's all it was ever intended to be used for.  MORE

SEE HERE  The contraception provision never did make sense as health care and it's clearly a violation of the rights of religious freedom.  Can we take down the whole thing as an illegally passed tax?

SEE HERE  The "I'm offended sympathy card" is played whenever a liberal comes under criticism.  I'm always immensely amused when the progressives play the "I'm offended" card.  Maybe the main reason is that they offend me all the time and don't care so why should I care when they claim to be offended.  Now we have a profound example of either total incompetence, or corruption, or stupidity or two or more and I'm supposed to be sympathetic to the folks that got us here?  Can we have some sanity please.  The was a really expensive web site, one of the most expensive or maybe the most expensive in history.  No adequate development process.  No testing.  Launch and profound FAIL!  No-one is to blame obviously.  It might hurt their feelings to point that out ... poor incompetent liberals.  Don't tell anyone, they'll be offended.

SEE HERE  I think a tax on government politician's words paid for by the politicians would be good.  Maybe that would require them to think before they open their mouths to lie to us.  They could pay it by taking pay cuts.  Oh and their salaries should be reduced for each increase in national debt, something significant, say 25%.  Then once their salary has been reduced to nothing, one more offense and they're removed from office.  Of course term limits would be good too.
