Group Think in the Neo-Communist Mode

SEE HERE  Roll down and catch the video if you have ten minutes.  It is an exercise in chaos and mindlessness with everyone repeating the words of the speaking like a mantra.  If this is what they think democracy is, then you will see why Plato and Aristotle both condemned democracy and why the founding fathers created, not a democracy, but a representative republic.  I personally think this is chilling.

Grow the Economy to Solve the Problems

Whining doesn't solve problems!  ... the racial job gap is due to education differential and the concentration in poor economic areas (ex. Detroit).  The moderator is really trying for some sort of admission that somehow the society is at fault.  The real fault is failure to strive meaningfully.

Poor? In America? Not Really!

SEE HERE The reality is that the poor in America are the richest poor on the face of the earth.  It's not that we don't have anyone who is really really poor for we certainly do.  But the people living below the official poverty line are not poor in the kind of sense that one sees when pictures of starving Africans are paraded around by fund raisers.  The poor in America have air conditioners, refrigerators, and televisions for the most part.  They are not malnourished, so much of the spin about poverty is the spin of contrasting the very wealthy with the least wealthy of Americans.  The very wealthy are very well off indeed.  And with enough spin we can generate envy among those who have less if material goods is all you want, but don't pretend that most people in America are hurting in any way but by suffering from the desire to have more than they can afford.  I was just looking at a truck I wouldn't mind having today and my wife complained about the gas mileage.  Some people don't have to worry about gas mileage like Al Gore whose carbon footprint in more than probably any other five hundred people combined.  The whole class warfare thing get pretty old when the people fomenting the problem are all wealthy themselves and just doing it to retain power.

If you want to talk about poverty then go and help those that are truly poor and stop pretending to be so concerned with the so-called poor that had to cut off the air-conditioner to reduce the electric bill.

Wall Street Protestors In Their Own Speak

Interesting blather about economics from folks that don't know much.  A lot of zero-sum-game thinking being spun up.  Some of these folks are really glib ... "the obscenely wealthy breaking the system for everyone else" ... the one guy doesn't want revolution just wants to have everyone that has stuff give it to others.  I thought charity was supposed to be voluntary.  Victoria is a bit of a ditz, but these guys believe in the boogie man.  After we've spend everyone else's wealth it will be fun to see if these guys can work for a living.

Has the Media Figured Out that the POTUS is an Empty Suit?

SEE HERE  Judging from the tone of these questions there may be hope that the media is finally coming out of their self-induced stupor of the last few years.  They are beginning to understand the president is not only out of his depth, but that he has no depth.  Of course neither does the media which has become nothing but a cheering section with nothing to cheer about.  This may be beginning to get on their nerves so the koolaid is wearing off.

The Phony Bologna In Washington Just Goes On and On

SEE HERE They keep slicing it thinner and thinner and spicing it up, but it's still made with your sweat and effort and passed out to whomever the politicians are buying these days.

In general, the art of government consists in taking as much money as possible from one party of the citizens to give to the other. – Voltaire (1764)

Conservatives and liberals are kindred spirits as far as government spending is concerned. First, let’s make sure we understand what government spending is. Since government has no resources of its own, and since there’s no Tooth Fairy handing Congress the funds for the programs it enacts, we are forced to recognize that government spending is no less than the confiscation of one person’s property to give it to another to whom it does not belong – in effect, legalized theft. – Walter Williams
