Allen West for VP

SEE HERE I am so not enamoured of Mitt Romney I can't tell you.  He's a total weather vane ... but if he gets the nomination, as he certainly seems on track to do (are the Republicans crazy?) then he better pick someone like Allen West as his VP or he will twist slowly in the wind as the grassroots says "Ho hum ... Obama-lite, better the Democrats be blamed for destroying the country fast than the Republicans for destroying it more slowly."  Allen West just might activate the base.  Better would be Gingrich-West or even Palin-West.
