The Lies Never End — Rich Down 18% While Poor Down 5%

SEE HERE The rich keep getting richer and the poor poorer we are always told by the manipulators on the left.  Of course if this were actually true then everyone would soon be rich and we'd have to reinvent what we mean by poor.  But of course we already have because the poor in America are rich by the standards of most of the rest of the world.  Do the words rich and poor really mean anything?  Not really!  Thomas Sowell is here interested in lies as they play out in politics.  The big lie is that the rich and poor are fixed and stable populations.  The underlying reality is that everyone in the system is in flux.  I particularly liked the category he calls the 'transferrers' who contribute nothing but facilitate the transfer of earned income from the productive classes to the entitled classes who benefit and become dependent.  We need to reveal the lies that live at the heart of this distortion.
