The obvious question is whether this is far-out crazy or actually a serious possibility. To me the most disturbing thing is that until the past couple of years I had never seen such gloomy speculation. So at least that much has changed. We need to make sure this doesn't happen and that we restore optimism and economic progress to the United States.
