Arbitrary Taxation Is A Fundamental Threat to Liberty

SEE HERE As time has gone on the taxing power of the republic has been expanded. The power to tax is ultimately the power to destroy and taxation has been at the heart of the decline and failure of nations throughout history. HERE TOO If we fail to rein in the power to tax and keep the Federal government on a leash, we will soon enough have no freedom. "... the fall of Rome was fundamentally due to economic deterioration resulting from excessive taxation, inflation, and over-regulation." HERE and we are on the same track and not so far behind.  The coin of tribute is ever Caesar's and his foot lies upon the neck of the governed where its burden soon enough destroys.
