I was at Pearl Harbor. My father served on the U.S.S. Detroit on that fateful day and lost many friends on their sister ship the U.S.S. Raleigh sunk at anchor. I and all my sons have served. We believe in America as a city on a hill, a light to the nations. We must preserve this country for our children.
