Allen West explains that a label describes a set of policies.

Ted Nugent seems to have been being candid. The idea that divisive language should be off the table coming from Romney fails to take into account the rhetoric of the opposition which could hardly be more divisive. West explains his remarks about communists ... they renamed themselves progressives. "communist, progressive, marxist, statist" ... whatever you name it, it refers to the same spectrum of policies. The quote of a communist leader as if it is authoritative caps the discourse. Of course they don't claim it ... that's why they changed the name. Frankly if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's fair to call it a duck. What part of that do the misrepresenters not get?
