Coincidence? Who knows!

SEE HERE I always wonder about coincidences that suggest sinister conspiracies and plots and whatnot. I'm congenitally biased against conspiracies just because they make things complicated and if there is a simpler answer than Occam's Razor suggests accepting the simpler hypothesis. On the other hand, the multiplication of improbabilities in conjoined events suggests sometimes that the conspiracy theorists have something going for them. We'll see!
