Romney Shaping Up to Be a Disaster

SEE HERE Newt points out the obvious. Romney not only does not activate the base, but he positively alienates them. This is highlighting the nasty little secret of the Republican Party which is that the grassroots is a whole lot more conservative than the party regulars and country club RINOs that play the game for influence and power. I've watched this since my college days, now lost in the distant past, and it hasn't changed a bit. We clearly need a real part that has conservative values that it actually practices instead of the pretend conservative party that mollifies its constituents with words and then proceeds to do whatever it wants.
