Did You Know You Belong To The State? — Did Anyone Tell Jefferson?

SEE HERE There is something incredibly despicable about the idea that a major American political party can adopt a message that the people belong to the state. The Founders would have found that an inexplicable idea. Only the Liberal progressive Communist Marxists that pretend they are Americans and call themselves Democrats could take that view. "Government is the only thing we all belong to." Of course the explanation is like belonging to a club and not like being owned ... right? I certainly hope so. I wonder at the wording however.
