The Liberal Dependency Program — How To Destroy the Poor!

Do you think this is an improvement? If you extend the trend we will all be government slaves in the future. Look at the data and recognize what it means. You've been gamed and we are not far from total enslavement and tyranny. The permanent political class has destroyed far more families than they have ever really helped.

My sister, my wife, and I were discussing the societal decline that has taken place in the United States since the 1960's this morning at breakfast.  We agreed that it had accelerated under Lyndon Johnson's war on poverty.  She posted on HER BLOG and I picked up the white board talk from her.  She also links to a paper by Patrick Moynihan who also was involved later in the Nixon administration.

Moynihan concludes his report with the statement: "The policy of the United States is to bring the Negro American to full and equal sharing in the responsibilities and rewards of citizenship. To this end, the programs of the Federal government bearing on this objective shall be designed to have the effect, directly or indirectly, of enhancing the stability and resources of the Negro American family."

Earlier in the report he had warned that a major part of the problems in the Negro community was the matriarchal society that had developed that marginalized fathers.  The Great Society program actually seemed to have been designed to worsen this problem.  The conclusion can hardly be avoided that the program was consciously designed to create a permanent dependency class beholding to the left that would permanently vote for the Democrats to continue the cycle of dependency once begun.
