Progress? Mr. President Could You Define that a Little More Clearly

SEE HERE It's all rhetoric with president Obama. It's all about energizing people with phony analogies and false hopes of a better world. It is ever the goal of a demagogue to create discontent with the present order and promise utopia if he is followed. Now perhaps we begin to see the kind of utopia that president Obama has in mind. It is a troubling sight. It involves draining away the earned gains of the people to fund all manner of cronies who will sustain him in power, be they the unions, those whose credit is so poor that only government guarantees will let them buy homes which they then default on paying, or a myriad of projects that cannot be defended on their own merits and so receive government subsidies. Is this the hope and change Obama voters voted for? Or is this a betrayal of their hopes by a false messiah who looks good behind a teleprompter? I find this man frightening, mainly for his lack of vision and understanding and for his blatant unamericanism. Bill Clinton only abhorred the military. Obama seems to abhor the whole country imagining that it needs to be fundamentally transformed. Transformed from what to what? Apparently from something he hates to something he can love. The question needs to be asked. The problem is that it will be answered with platitudes that sound that he is proposing heaven on earth and that is always the promise of those who end up enslaving us. No thank you Mr. President.
