Who's Abusing Whom? The hypocrisy of the press!

SEE HERE The ladies over at Les Femmes point out that the press is all hot and bothered to get the dirt on Pope Benedict who appears to have been doing his pastoral duty, something the press doesn't understand. They think being a priest is just another job that you get fired from.

But as the piece points out, where is the outrage over the abuse of children in the public schools and the destruction of parental rights. What a bunch of hypocrites! There is plenty of public sinfulness to go around, but frankly the priest scandal in the Catholic Church is demonstrably less serious than the similar scandal in other churches and in the public schools. There is a scripture about removing the beam from your own eye before taking the splinter out of your brother's eye. I think the media with their support for abortion, for gay marriage, and for all sorts of other modern decadence are way out in front leading the parade for immorality. Trying to implicate the current Pope is just misdirection. Look to your own house.
