The Dysfunctional Nanny State

SEE HERE If you've noticed that the government screws up everything it touches then you're onto something. Increasingly the government seems to think it has a role in every nook and cranny of our lives from the oil we cook French fries in to whether we're allowed to drink unpasteurized milk if we want to. This is particularly nutzo when you consider that they're also ready in at least some venues to let you smoke marijuana but not bring aspirin to school. (Is this stupid or what?) So this piece sounds just the right note of complete insanity that has become the typical experience of government.
