James David Manning On the Middle East Uprisings

Reality simply doesn't feature in our current thinking about the uprisings in the Middle East. The Arab Spring is likely to blow up the Middle East and not lead to peace but to World War III. It is about destroying the state of Israel. I think Manning is likely right. When will we know? Maybe when a mushroom cloud rises over Manhattan we'll see what is going on. Manning is viewing all this in an apocalyptic narrative. True? I don't know, but maybe, definitely maybe.
