SEE HERE I was impressed by a piece my sister posted on her blog THIS ONE and after reading it did a bit more research on the author's other writing for American Thinker and so found the theme piece I highlight about Sarah Palin. Earlier I had watched the Rush Limbaugh video I posted a few postings back and Rush had talked about the politics of vilification, not with that word. I've often just called it demonization.
Liberals don't actually have any arguments. They are mostly not thinkers. They are thugs. Their idea of an argument is to state an opinion, almost always one which is highly distorted and factually incorrect. When you try to have a discussion and point this out, instead of a discussion you are quickly reduced to an object of attack. You're a "Nazi" or a "crazy Conservative" or something worse. When you don't actually have an argument, respond with vilification. Trademark move — "Oh yeah, you're a liberal."
Gore Vidal called William F. Buckley a crypto-Nazi and Buckley proceeded to call him a "queer." CHECK IT OUT The difference was that one was a lie and the other was vulgar but factually correct. But Buckley was cast as he heavy in this and the reason came from a young correspondent who said that Vidal's remark was political but that Buckley's was personal. So there you have it. Anything goes for a Democrat in the name of politics.
Where have I heard this principle before ... oh yeah, Communist tracts. The Democrats are just another form of Socialist ideologues who seek power and control in the name of compassion. You'll get the same compassion from them if they get power and control that Stalin gave to the peasants of the Ukraine.
