Style over Substance: The Failure of Education

The book "Obama Zombies" is written by Jason Mattera who is a young 20 something on a crusade to expose the lack of thought in modern political America. I'm enjoying his book, although I'm not too far into it. Here's a little excerpt from page 17:

The point is that Obama is not a man of integrity; he's a man of callousness and calculation; he and his advisors are ruthlessly savvy in getting what they want, and the mainstream media went right along like the prostitutes they are. Not only was and is Obama a doctrinaire liberal, but he's prone to mind-blowing lies and deception. The media gave Obama a pass. And they continue to do so.

My impression so far is that the book is written in an incisive but sarcastic style. Wikipedia takes Mattera to task for some over the top editorial journalism when he was a student. It was however a case of the same thing that Ann Coulter dislikes so much, the liberal tendency to find victims of horrific crimes to use as spokes people because then if they are criticized the left can accuse the right of insensitivity. A more callous manipulation of people is hard to imagine. Mattera isn't ready to play the game.
