The Standard Liberal Narrative: Anti-Constitutionalism

SEE HERE Here in the same rag that published Krauthammer's column is the liberal narrative which seeks as a subtext to belittle and marginalize the Constitution by pointing out that at the beginning it tolerated slavery and had various other provisions that offend the popular mind in this "modern" age of relativism. That is a narrative which is clearly intended to detract from the Constitution as the first law of the land.

In fact those provisions have been modified through amendments duly passed in accordance with Constitutional procedures. As such, they are no longer relevant for they are no longer the law of the land. So to bring them up at all is to advance an anti-American attitude and to try to undermine the Constitution and for that matter the United States, since the subtext is if the Constitution was once offensive to modern sensibilities then it must always be offensive.

I realize that this liberal mantra is the two neuron approach to law, but when you're neuron deprived as liberals are then all you can do is make ridiculous presentiments and point fingers and call names. Thus has it ever been. Thus will it always be. It is the nature of the two neuron mentality.
