Is There No End To What They Will Do?

SEE HERE The rules of the Senate are going to be challenged by the Democrat majority. The rules associated with the filibuster are there to protect the minority. The Democrats will not always have a majority and if they change the rules (assuming that is even appropriate -- they should not be able to change the rules except by changing them in the context of the present rules) and what they are doing seems on the face of it against the rule, then they will come to rue what they did later. Government gridlock is actually usually a preferable state to government smooth operation. Since the probability in any given instance is much higher that they will screw something up than that they will help anyone, the net effect of gridlock is to slow the advance of chaos and tyranny. It should be an interesting war to watch.
