When Your Predictions Fail Over and Over You're a Charlatan Not A Scientist
SEE HERE James Hansen has been making bad predictions since he's been making predictions. It's time to stop pretending he's a scientist. Scientists can be wrong, and often are. A scientist that is almost always wrong is a statistical unlikelihood but a person whose predictions are simply calculated to inspire fear and have no very good basis in science is a charlatan and probably has a stake in scaring you.
