SEE HERE After the smoke clears and the Senate approves the latest Obamanation the tinkerers with the public mind, the liberal-progressive lame-brained media will assess the winners and losers in pseudo-intellectual fashion and pretend that something significant has happened. The reality? — Obama got what he wanted which as Francis Cianfrocca points out today at Red State is:1) To get Republicans to propose specific spending cuts that Democrats can use against them in the coming elections, while not making any such proposals himself; and
2) To silence the fiscal debate until after his election in 2012.
Don't you just love the game playing and subtle insanity that passes for public debate in Washington. Meanwhile we're supposed to believe that Democrats give a damn about the country. Over 800 days without a budget and then they lambast the Republicans. Washington is a dysfunctional mess.
