According to Ron Paul ...

SEE HERE I don't know if Jen Kuznicki's view of Ron Paul puts all the chips on the right cards, but it's something you ought to take into consideration.  Ron Paul seems to me to live in a world that is different from the real world.  That's probably the biggest reason that I'm less than enthralled with his candidacy.  He offers simplistic sounding solutions to very complex and involved problems.  He doesn't offer so much solutions as platitudes.  Our problems are more complicated than that and they can't be solved overnight.  Nevertheless we need a principle driven approach and the question regarding Ron Paul is whether 1) his principles (enough of them) actually work? and 2) whether he will be able to obtain enough cooperation to advance his agenda?  I don't know.  I'm doubtful.  To be fair I'm also doubtful if we have a solution or have gone too far to recover gracefully.  If we've gone too far then the question is will the collapse be precipitous or a long slide.  A long slide might offer the opportunity to change course and create a soft landing.  Otherwise it's going to be a crunch.  A lot of people don't walk away from a crunch landing, especially those in the cockpit.
