SEE HERE and HERE Rand Paul has been caught up in the usual Slobbering Liberal Attack Mode ... SLAM which is structured this way: 1) ask the victim a question and find an aspect of the answer that doesn't fit your PC worldview, 2) attack the victim relentlessly labeling his opinion in the worst possible construction ignoring any context the victim established and in the process 3) label the victim using liberal code words and repeat constantly. It's a version of the big lie. It works wonderfully well since the liberal media doesn't bother to fact check or provide anything resembling fair and balanced reporting. For a list of liberal code words CHECK HERE and HERE
The point of course is that liberty includes the right to be a wacko. Look at all the liberals we have which illustrate this principle very well. Among the wackos of the world are those with beliefs like "I don't want to associate with [ fill in the blank ]" and of course in the modern celebration of diversity and what not, you've just identified yourself as a bigot. Perhaps the blank was murderers or perhaps it was right-wing wackos or maybe left-wing wackos or maybe just wackos. After all, wackiness may be catching like the measles. But freedom includes the right to decide who you want to hang with. This seems like it should include businesses too since rights are rights. So the problem is where and how do you draw the line between individual rights and collective obligations? Certainly worth a discussion or two.
