Governor Christie Continues to Be a Treat: Straight Talk at the Unions

I might be more sympathetic with the teachers' unions if they were demonstrably doing their job. The state of education in the United States is disastrous despite the fact that we pay more for education than anywhere else in the world. We get less than we pay for by far. I'm not entirely sure why, but maybe at least in part it is because we don't expect enough and were are not demanding enough. We should lead the world, instead we are a laughingstock.
