A Fundamental Question: Is It Possible to Have a Dialogue with Democrats?

SEE HERE The politics of vilification and name calling are what is primarily conoducted by the Democrat party which is why I often call them Demon-crats. The have only one argument and that is an ad hominem of one sort or another: "You're a [demon: name your favorite]"

The problem is that this simply ends debate before it starts. You cannot have a discussion with an opponent who is inherently dishonest and distorts your words, makes baseless claims and vilifies you. But that's virtually all that the Democrats do. This might not be so bad if we had an informed electorate. They would see through such a strategy and recognize that they were dealing with people who could not rationally defend their policies and tried to conceal that fact by vilification of their more reasoned opposition. But our electorate has been cheated out of a good education and instead been indoctrinated into all the trendy ideas without justification beyond feel good, "wouldn't it be nice if ..." ex. "money grew on trees" (they might recognize that) so "the minimum wage were higher" or "we controlled those greedy banks and helped you get mortgages you can't afford." Yeah, that's the ticket.
