SEE HERE The Republicans continue to be a rather bland brand. Deep down somewhere they have this creed called the Republican Creed. They don't talk about it much because frankly they don't seem to try to implement it so bringing it up can be an embarrassment. The trouble is that people really want the Republicans to stand for something and not be the wimpy weakwilled wusses that they always seem to end up being when you offer them the possibility of leadership. So what's to be done. (See the Republican Creed Below)
That the free enterprise system is the most productive supplier of human needs and economic justice,
That all individuals are entitled to equal rights, justice, and opportunities and should assume their responsibilities as citizens in a free society,
That fiscal responsibility and budgetary restraints must be exercised at all levels of government,
That the Federal Government must preserve individual liberty by observing Constitutional limitations,
That peace is best preserved through a strong national defense,
That faith in God, as recognized by our Founding Fathers is essential to the moral fibre of the Nation.
Well there it is. Now all we have to do is get the Republicans who preach it occasionally to live it.
