Union/Government Cronyism Leads to Disaster

When you receive engineering training, one of the things you learn about is positive feedback loops. These are loops that cause runaway cycles to take place. In theory these loops would run to infinity, but that's only in the mathematical world where numbers can get as big as they like without end. In the real world, the finite world, the run hits limits. The limits here are the bankruptcy of the states that have allowed unions the free run of the state treasury commanding larger and larger benefit and salary wage packages. It's not sustainable. Just like the Federal train wreck which is coming on fast, there are a number of states who have not managed themselves well. Maybe we'll have joint trainwreck. The feds, after all, are not in a very good position to be bailing states out.
