Defending the Sacrament of Marriage Is Offensive to Homosexuals

SEE HERE Marriage is not an institution invented by the state. Indeed, the state has no business being involved in marriage at all. Marriage is an individual covenanted relationship between a man and a woman which is the foundation of society. So the notion that homosexual unions, which are in general transitory sexual obsessional affairs, and which have no particular social value, the notion that they should be given protections analogous to marriage and called marriages is particularly offensive to those of us who believe marriage is a sacrament instituted by God. If you want to have obsessional sexual relationships then go call them something else. Maybe we should have a contest for an appropriate word, something dignified not unlike concubinage or ruttage. Marriage is taken.
