Perspective On Palin: What It's Like To Be A Real Person

SEE HERE The media is so used to manufacturing people and building them up or tearing them down, spinning this way and that and generating what Jerry Doyle called "grapefuit" that when they run into a real person with values and her own mind they go nuts. It's actually great fun to watch. They've been careening down the highway because Palin hasn't released an agenda. She's not being "managed" and "spun" by the spinmeisters. It's actually pretty amusing to watch this as a real person ignores the purveyors of plastic profiles and pseudoreality. Even more funny folks on both sides are being gored. They all so used to structuring and staging reality that they've forgotten that reality is, well, real and things will happen regardless of whether they are scheduled and advance men have set up the scripts and, yes, the teleprompters. Managed reality is something I think we could do with a lot less of. Meanwhile it's fun to watch Sarah Palin as she goes her own way. You go Sarah!
