The Price Of Freedom Is Eternal Vigilance

SEE HERE  Vigilance directed not only externally but against the state because power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely.  The state intrinsically grows tyrannical as it grows larger and more powerful.  It is that reason which the Founders well understood, that motivated them to cede only limited and enumerated powers to the Federal government.  Slowly since almost the very beginning the tendency has been to move more and more power to the central government.  This accelerated after the Civil War and accelerated further around 1913 with the rise of the progressive movement.  We are now approaching the end game when the system collapses.  The result will be the rise of the despotic state.  You have been warned.  You can resist or you can submit.  You can be free or you can be kept and when you have been kept for a while you will be enslaved.  That's the way it works.  That's the way it has always worked.
