2.48 Billion Dollars for Global Warming Research In One Year

SEE HERE 2011 looks like a bumper year for global warming researchers budgeted to spend $2.48 billion if I added the figures up correctly. The whole space program took only about $26 billion to take us to the moon. (OK I'm not correcting for inflation but it also took almost ten years) So this is just a huge amount of money and for what? It's certainly way too much money to just be for climate modeling. So what are they spending all that money for? Does any of this stuff make sense? When you look at all the budgetary figures across these agencies you see money being blown for doubtful benefit and questionable Constitutionality across the board. Let's start staging this down and out. The government is expert at only one thing, and that's wasting money. We need to put them on a diet and shrink the Federal Budget, shrink the taxes and shrink the government.
