Wait ... Did You Use The Phone? And You Think You Have Privacy? ... Silly You!

SEE HERE  I don't think this is surprising.  The technology is available and there is no self-control among the power hungry.  If you can do it you generally will do it.  You don't even need much impetus.  I've assumed for a long time that there is no such thing anymore as privacy.

Cell-towers broadcast the telephone messages and can triangulate your location fairly precisely.  Many phones have GPS capability and there's no way to be sure that they don't have a backdoor that would let them be interrogated which would locate you to about a yard.

Cameras are everywhere and can easily be wired to be interrogated by cell phone so you can be watched remotely.  I routinely count the surveillance cameras that I see and it is not uncommon for a store to have twenty or so visible and probably more that are not immediately visible.  Cars have black boxes on them.

You're being snooped on.  The only thing you have going for you is that everyone is being snooped on and that's a big number.  On the other hand you can be easily targeted.  Privacy?  Don't make me laugh.
