I don't think we need treaties that are negotiated in secret to give corporations a lot more control and power. Secret usually means against you and I. On the other hand I don't agree much with this narrative once you inspect the motives and principles the narrators are bringing to bear on the issue. It's pretty vanilla liberal demonization and that means that the whole thing is pretty conflicted.
