SEE HERE I'm getting to be an old dude. I was born on the day of the Battle of Midway in that distant time of 1942 right after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. The New Deal was still reasonably "new" although whether it was a "deal" or not is still playing out. I'm inclined to think that it was a very big mistake that accelerated us down the road to our present crisis. If we are to remain a free people we cannot turn everything over to government and healthcare is too big, too personal, too life and death oriented to become a government fiefdom if we treasure our liberty at all. It is disturbing to see all the lying that is going on. This is the biggest power grab in history and they claim it will add millions to the healthcare rolls and save billions of dollars. "Hello, are you awake." How can you add millions to the rolls and save money at the same time? Economies of scale? Government. Post Office. Amtrack. Medicare. Social Security. When has that ever worked? Their lips are moving, they're lying.
You may not feel like a puppet on a string yet, but give it a few years. Your freedom has been being eroded for generations. We are simply nearing the end of the battle before the great darkness.
