A Spending Limit Amendment: Count Me In!

SEE HERE Since the Congress can't seem to control their own spending perhaps we need some more teeth in the Constitution to mandate some sort of spending restraint. This is an idea whose time has come I think. We need to restrain government spending or the old joke about the short form income tax form will become reality. You remember: Fill in how much you made. Send it in! Simple tax that consumes the entire economy. Well they're on there way to that result if they are not restrained. Time for a Constitutional Amendment that Thomas Jefferson would applaud.
