SEE HERE  The left is always wailing about poverty and helping the poor.  But the reality is that to first order there is no poverty in the United States.  Sure some people have less than others but even those with less have more than almost any other group on the planet.  The War on Poverty is, and always has been, a scam by the left to generate a culture of dependency to ensure a uniform voting bloc to keep them in power.  The reality is rather different and Walter Williams exposes the naked underbelly of reality to show how different it is.
