The Insanity Of Government ...

SEE HERE This is beyond nutty! So some equipment is lost. When I was in the military in basic training the company I was in ran out of mops for the cafeteria so the sergeant had some KPs (troops on kitchen police duty) go down to the next company down the street and steal some of their mops. They even had a phrase for that sort of thing: "Midnight requisition!" There are all sorts of stories about jeeps and other equipment disappearing only to show up in another motor pool. But this is a weird case. Some equipment goes missing. It's reported. It's supposed to have been written off and ten years later the guy is charged for it by the government taking it out of his taxes. That doesn't make sense on the wildest imagination. How did they even know? Government is definitely wacked!
