You'd Think History Would Be More Reliable

SEE HERE It seems as though the textbooks have an awful lot of errors. You'd think that they'd be noticed more instead of only flagged when a politically incorrect error happens to be noticed. I have little doubt that some black people participated on the side of the Confederacy, but large numbers seem unlikely. SEE HERE This sounds like the "fact" that triggered the review which discovered quite a few more errors. This just highlights that you can't really trust much of anything you read unless you've done a little research yourself to get a better sense of how well established the "fact" is. WIKI
