Government Is Often Dispensible
SEE HERE Government thinks it is indispensable. It never tires of telling us how much it is doing for us and how grateful we should be. The reality is that government costs far more than it is worth. Not only must we pay the direct costs of government but we often have to pay vastly more in indirect costs. The indirect costs include those imposed by government regulations, the compensation that must be generated to make do with government's poor solutions to make up the difference, the never ending inspections and regulatory reports and so forth, many of which are totally ineffective and just end up being make work for everyone involved. Sometimes, even often, a private enterprise solution is far better. Is that a surprise? Well it wouldn't be if you hadn't been propagandized on how evil business is from the time you were two. Any more government than enough, and enough isn't much, is too much.
