Counterfactuals In Action

SEE HERE If we hadn't had the stimulus package we'd have 9% unemployment ... hmmm... and if pigs had wings they'd fly. The reality is that to float their story they now have to claim that if they hadn't had the stimulus package that unemployment would have gone to 15%, another counterfactual. The reality is that we'd blown a lot of taxpayer money, created a lot of debt, funded a lot of stupid stuff, and accomplished just about nothing that was promised.
