The Fundamental Problem: Big Is Usually Bad!

SEE HERE I'm a great fan of Lord Acton's quote: "Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely." The problem with bigness is that it tends to both unwieldiness, hence inefficiency, and then on to distorted and vague goals poorly focused with blind follow-through. When you buy big government you get corruption as a natural byproduct, also a lot of stupidity.
