SEE HERE Credit rating? What credit it rating. Move along now! It's really pretty amazing how Obama and the liberals have totally gulled the news media. why is that? Can it really be a conspiracy as the wack-jobs imagine or is it just that the media is so completely propagandized that they can't see reality anymore? I've been kicking around for a long time and I've always kept pretty current on things and I'm really staggeringly amazed that things have come to this point. Maybe it's the internet and http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifthe amazing speed that information and disinformation travels these days which makes me feel this way. Seriously though, I've just never seen such a large disconnect between what appears to be the actual reality and what is reported in the news. As Jerry Doyle said in an audio I listened to of his book, "Have You Seen My Country Lately?" — it's all grapefruit anymore. Grapefruit is a word Doyle uses for news that isn't really news but more a distraction from more important matters. Things that would qualify are the usual antics of the Hollywood set, or the antics of the British Royals, while real news about matters of political and national importance simply get back burnered. Perhaps it's just a matter of perspective. We just don't care. If you feel powerless to affect things then you're more interested in the grapefruit than in important matters. Well that attitude is going to be tested pretty soon now. It may not be pretty.
