Old Gingrich Hit Piece by the Republican Establishment

SEE HERE Why anyone would listen to Bob Dole or Trent Lott is beyond me. This is a piece that goes back to January but one that shows the divisions in the Republican Party for what they are, straight up old-boy establishment against conservatives. I'm supporting Romney as the apparent nominee of the party but I'd switch to Gingrich in a heartbeat as a more principled and more conservative candidate. The Republicans are deeply divided along the lines of principles. The establishment has exactly the same principles as the Democrats, power and influence ... and they'll say anything because they are relatively unprincipled. The conservatives and the Tea Party form the majority of the grassroots and they are fed up. It's no surprise, they've been lied to and gamed over and over again. They are only humored because they do most of the work. Well it's time to change that and the sooner the better.
