The Medicare Piggy Bank

SEE HERE You've probably seen the shell game where the shells are moved around and the prize is supposed to be under one of the shells. The mark never gets it right. That's how I feel watching the Obama administration's ObamaCare health care plan.

It's smoke and mirrors. They tax and spend and move money from one bag to another while pretending that you're going to get more health care. But the reality is that there aren't any more doctors and many of the doctors who look under the hood are heading for the exits.

The reality is very different from the promises. Health care is being put under faceless bureaucrats who don't give one hoot for your well being and they will control whether you'll receive the care you need. Your doctor, well he becomes just another government functionary. How's that for motivation for those who enter the medical profession by a long and arduous path with much schooling and much more internship and journeymanship.

As usual, you're being gamed as the government slowly swallows the private sector. The objective is socialism and when they are finished you won't really be free any more. Despite the promises, you won't like it.
