The Insanity of the Gun-Control Left

SEE HERE The first problem with all gun control legislation is that it only affects people to obey laws which unfortunately is not a set that intersects with the set of people who perpetrate massacres.  So the legislation is irrational.  The legislation is ineffective because it also pays no attention to reality in other dimensions such as the fact that a gun is merely an instrument and not an agent.  In good hands it is used for good purposes while in bad hands it is used for bad purposes.  That's about all the analysis you need to understand that gun legislation is ineffective.  It may reduce the total number of firearms or bullets available but it will concentrate those that are in the hand of evil people.  This will not effect the ends articulated.  It won't work and believing that it will is irrational.
