Your Tax Dollars At Work ... $60,000 Of Them

  SEE HERE  I can't get as agitated about this as the author of the piece did.  This is along the lines of an "ice-breaker" to kick off an IRS conference in 2010.  The price tag is a bit unclear.  It may just involve the cost of the facilities but if they are typical government facilities they cost the same whether they are used or not so the cost is a bit illusory when itemized out against a short video like this.  The acting is pretty bad but what do you want to bet that all those folks were IRS people who were at the conference.  It's a great ice-breaker although they could have used a better script writer.  They mixed up the original series and next generation motifs.  But they can't all be hard core Trekies like me.
